Le Laboratoire GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) annonce la nomination de Thibault Desmarest  en qualité de Président GSK France, à compter du 1er février 2022, succédant ainsi à  Josephine Comiskey.

\n

Thibault Desmarest, actuellement VP Europe du Nord, pour les produits  de médecine générale chez Sanofi, est nommé Président de la filiale France de GSK et intègre le Comité de Direction Pharma Europe. 

\n

Thibault Desmarest a démarré sa carrière chez Synthélabo en 1997 en  tant que Délégué Médical, puis Chef de Produit Urologie/Allergies. 

\n

En 2000, il rejoint AstraZeneca pour occuper différentes fonctions commerciales, à responsabilité croissante, en charge notamment du lancement de  médicaments phares du portefeuille respiratoire et cardiovasculaire et de l’accompagnement  des équipes dans la préparation des lancements futurs.  

\n

En 2006, il intègre le Groupe Sanofi-Aventis, en tant que Directeur de l’Excellence Ventes,  avant de rejoindre, en 2019, la filiale américaine, pour occuper des fonctions de Director  Sales & Marketing Excellence, puis Head of Business Strategy & Effectiveness pour la  division oncologie.

En 2012, Thibault Desmarest rejoint Sanofi Japon, pour occuper d’abord des responsabilités dans le domaine de l’excellence opérationnelle, puis du marketing au niveau national, avant  d’être nommé General Manager médecine générale, sur une zone géographique plus large,  incluant le Japon, l’Australie, la Nouvelle-Zélande et la Corée.

2016 a marqué le retour de Thibault Desmarest en France, pour assurer le lancement d’un  médicament cardiovasculaire dans une trentaine de pays, avant d’être nommé à son poste actuel en 2020. 

\n

Diplômé de l’EDHEC et du Harvard Business School, Thibault Desmarest a également  étudié la biologie médicale à l’Université Pierre et Marie Curie à Paris.

Josephine Comiskey, Présidente de GSK France depuis 2018, est nommée Senior Vice President, Growth Emerging Markets chez GSK. Dans cette fonction, elle jouera un rôle central dans la conduite de l'ambition de croissance du portefeuille de produits de spécialité, vaccins et de médecine générale sur l’ensemble de marchés émergents à fort potentiel de croissance, comprenant la Turquie, l’Arabie Saoudite, les pays du Golfe, le Pakistan, le Chili, le Pérou et l’Equateur, la Colombie, les Philippines, la Thaïlande, la Malaisie et l’Indonésie. 

\n

Elle prendra ses nouvelles fonctions le 2 janvier 2022 et rejoindra l’équipe de Direction des marchés émergents de GSK. Elle sera basée en Angleterre.
